This position is a Heavy Equipment Maintenance Mechanic role. It focuses on the upkeep of heavy industrial processing machinery.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines and related systems.
• Diagnose mechanical issues using schematics and technical manuals.
• Conduct inspections of equipment to identify potential problems before they escalate.
• Repair or replace components such as shocks, struts, and other critical parts.
• Operate various tools and equipment safely, including diggers and cranes.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each unit.
• Collaborate with other service technicians to ensure timely completion of projects.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engine repair techniques and practices.
• Familiarity with farm machinery, cranes, forklifts, and other heavy equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment.
• Certification from a recognized trade school or equivalent experience is preferred.
