Construction Materials Technician (CMT) – Entry Level | Truck Required
Looking to start a career in construction or engineering? This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction materials testing no prior experience required. We provide training and cover the cost of certifications to help you grow in the field.
What You’ll Do:
Travel to job sites to test soil and concrete
Collect and deliver samples for lab testing
Document results and ensure quality standards are met
Work independently in a fast-paced, outdoor environment
Schedule:
Monday–Friday with flexible hours (early mornings, occasional nights/weekends based on project needs)
Pay & Perks:
$17–$18/hr starting pay (DOE)
Raises after hire + additional increases per certification
Paid certifications and career growth opportunities
Mileage reimbursement ($0.70/mile)
Requirements
Must be 21+ with a valid driver’s license (no DUIs)
Must have a truck (equipment transport required)
Ability to lift 50 lbs
Strong reliability, flexibility, and communication skills
