We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production/Forklift Operator to join our dynamic warehouse team. You will be handling materials within the distribution center. You will use your strong forklift skills. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to seamless warehouse distribution operations while utilizing heavy equipment and materials handling expertise.
Responsibilities:
• Operate various types of forklifts, including reach trucks, clamp trucks, Hi-Lo forklifts, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and transport goods safely within the warehouse.
• Perform order picking daily.
• Manage shipping and receiving processes by verifying incoming shipments and preparing outgoing orders using company procedures.
• Conduct routine maintenance and minor repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance.
• Assist with warehouse organization by stacking pallets, managing inventory locations, and maintaining a clean work environment.
• Utilize warehouse management systems (WMS) to track inventory movements, update stock levels, and generate reports.
• Support warehouse supervision by adhering to safety protocols outlined by and participating in safety training sessions.
• Handle materials with care during heavy lifting operations, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury.
• Work with team members to optimize warehouse distribution processes and improve overall operational efficiency.

Requirements
• Proficiency in operating reach trucks, clamp trucks, forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment.
• Experience in order picking, shipping & receiving, and materials handling within a warehouse environment.
• Ability to perform inventory counts .
• Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and safety.
• Physical ability to perform lifting safely . This role is vital for maintaining efficient warehouse operations while prioritizing safety and accuracy.
• Must be able to submit to a background check and drug screen.
• Must be available to work from 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM on assigned work days.
