Job Details:
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain plant machinery and equipment such as mixers, conveyors, compressors, and pumps.
• Troubleshoot, repairs, or replace control devices such as switches, photo eyes, proximity sensors, pushbuttons, contactors, motor starters, etc. as needed.
• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace oven components such as burners, valves, bearings, scrapers, etc.
• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace pneumatic and basic electrical power components.
• Troubleshoot, repair, or replace PLC based control systems.
• Performs work order repairs, inspections and adjustments as well as preventative and predictive maintenance tasks.
• Sets up and operates metal working equipment such as hand tools, welders, drill press, or grinders.
• Monitor and assist outside contractors on/outside the premises.
• Work closely with production, refrigeration and warehouse personnel to effectively resolve and eliminate plant and process problems.
Requirements
Essential Job Requirements:
• Candidate needs to be knowledgeable in basic math, measurements, symbols, and transformers (how to wire H&X).
• Candidate should be able to explain PLC in detail.
• Candidate should be knowledgeable in wiring diagrams and motors.
• Candidate needs industrial Maintenance/Manufacturing experience.
• Candidate needs a minimum of 4 yrs. Heavy Electrical / Mechanical experience.
• Food Manufacturing is preferred, but not required.
